During the workshop that took place in a wine region in Lower Austria, the students were introduced to the principles of earth plastering, combining theory and practice. In preparation for the workshop the team has carried out tests and produced several samples to determine the best mix of materials. Getting to know the specific local earth available is an important step in working with earth as a building material.
