Reuse and rebuilding in Stadl-Paura

Our society is facing major challenges. How do architects respond to current and future changes? What strategies are there in relation to topics such as the circular economy, re-use, recycling and sustainability? The Austria-wide Architecture Days 2024 offer an exciting platform to explore this broad range of topics.

In Stadl-Paura, Materialnomaden and BASEhabitat, together with students from the University of Art and Design, will show how resource-efficient use of materials in architecture can be achieved. At an ‘open building site’ of the LenA project, circular design methods, material recycling management, remodelling and further construction in the single-family housing estate can be experienced.
