German Ecodesign Award 2022
Europe-wide competition for outstanding ecological design

Creative design ideas and projects that also meet the highest ecological standards were sought. The Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMUV) and the Federal Environment Agency (UBA), together with the International Design Centre Berlin (IDZ), called for entries. Companies of all sizes and from all sectors, designers and students were invited to submit their projects for the German Ecodesign Award.

Semjon Fehr, a student in the BASEhabitat Master's programme, submitted his design project "The Siblings" and made it into the shortlist. The photos show the project at an exhibition Metropolenhaus in Berlin.
