Building connections across the continents - recent works of AK0 – architettura a kilometro zero ETS

AK0 is an Italian association promoting sustainable and appropriate building solutions through training, dissemination, and construction with local communities in Europe, Africa, and Latin America.

Stefan Pollak is a founding member and responsible for the association‘s overseas projects. In his lecture he will show how building, learning, and experimenting can occur simultaneously on the building site and enhance each other. The discussion will illustrate how natural building materials and solid collaborative practices are crucial conditions for successful community-driven projects.
