Using natural fibres in architecture

BASEhabitat Master students gain important know-how about the material in its raw plant state and the transformation into a building material. They learn about various techniques and applications of hemp - such as insulation and acoustic panels or hempcrete. During the hands-on workshop, the students learn how to work with hemp and lime, developing their own acoustic panels made of hemp-lime.
