TERRAFIBRA Award
Submission until March 03, 2021
Through a general effort to protect our resources and reduce our current and future environmental impact significantly, new reasonable and sustainable architectural techniques have been developed. Earth and plant fibres are already widely used in modern architecture; hundreds of fine projects, from a technical, aesthetic and emotional perspective, are carried out across the globe.
Les Grands Ateliers and amàco, in partnership with CRAterre and ETH Zurich, are promoting frugal architecture and organising the TERRAFIBRA Award, under the patronage of the UNESCO chair “Earthen architectures, constructive cultures and sustainable development”.
